Discover ME Launches First Edition

Discover ME magazine successfully debuted in an event titled “Germany discovers ME” held at the Dubai Marine Beach Resort and Spa. The launch highlighted Discover ME’s dedication in bringing in reliable source of information and being the foremost leader in educating its readers about life in the Middle East .The event was sponsored by CEDARS Jebel Ali International Hospital.

Ms. Anne-Susann Becker, Managing Director and Editor in Chief of Discover ME, opened the event with a keynote speech on the profile of the magazine: “The name DiscoverME stands for the mission of the magazine: we would like to report about life, culture and business in the Middle East region from both a Western and Eastern point of view. Cultural understanding is the central topic of the 21st century and the leading theme of DiscoverME’s 1st issue.”

German pianists Volker Stenzl and Hans-Peter Stenzl serenaded the guests with  classical pieces of music from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, “Sonate D-dur” and Franz Liszt “Reminiscences de Don Juan”. The renowned close-up magician Felipe Scherson captivated the evening with his breath-taking magic and illusions show.

Speaking about the event Ms. Sabine Dyck, Project Manager and Editor of Discover ME magazine, said “We are witnessing the gradual transformation of our world into a single global economy. Today, when you look around the Middle East region, there are a lot of developments happening on a very high pace. Discover ME’s aim to be the medium of link between Germans and Arabs by delivering credible and trustworthy information about the multi-faceted culture and business aspects of the region.”

The event was attended by members of the ruling family, Ministers, Ambassadors, Foreign Diplomats, CEO’s and Marketing Executives from top ranking companies responsible for marketing, corporate communications, branding and interactive marketing.
